Developed in close collaboration with internationally acclaimed soloist and Yamaha Artist Jeroen Berwaerts, the YTR-8335EA represents a completely new approach to the professional trumpet. Designed and crafted by the Yamaha European Atelier in Hamburg, it delivers an uncompromising playing experience that combines warmth, precision, and expressive freedom. The letters “EA” in the model designation stand for European Atelier.
Designed for both solo and orchestral performance, the YTR-8335EA stands out for its exceptional balance, outstanding intonation, and its ability to respond effortlessly, from the most delicate pianissimos to the most powerful fortissimos. An Entirely New Design The YTR-8335EA incorporates numerous innovations developed specifically for this model.
• Its newly designed leadpipe and mouthpiece receiver provide exceptionally fast response while maintaining remarkable stability. Their classic profile, combined with a tighter venturi, offers effortless airflow across all dynamic levels and an especially natural playing feel.
• The one-piece gold brass bell, featuring a genuine French Bead, produces a singing, harmonically rich tone that blends warmth, depth, and brilliance. Its unique design delivers outstanding projection without ever compromising tonal refinement.
• The trumpet comes supplied with a heavy phosphor bronze bottom valve cap, complementing the three standard valve caps, as well as a removable brace that allows the player to adjust the instrument's feel, resistance, and tonal color. This modular design enables musicians to fine-tune the instrument to suit their repertoire and playing style.
